Yes. We will never ask you to pay for anything. The teamorama assessment will always remain free of charge, as it is a non-profit project that started with a collaboration between TU Wien and AK Niederösterreich.
Our plan was to create a free, scientifically-backed tool for any team that wishes to improve its communication and coordination processes.
The teamorama assessment is suitable for any team which works towards a common goal, has at least three members and a designated leader/manager/coordinator (so in total at least 4 members). This cut-off is important to ensure individual answeres are not revealed, hence maintaining an anonymity for all.
Before starting the survey, you will be asked to give your informed consent so that we can process your teams data for scientific purposes. Your data will be stored at a secured TU Wien Data Storage Facility according to current GDPR regulations.
Yes, completely. We will store your email address just to send you a reminder in case your team does not complete the survey and the link with your results. After you’ve received your results your email address will be automatically deleted.
Only you will be able to see the results of your “team lead’s survey”. Your team’s data will be aggregated – so you will not see the individual data of your team members.
We need your e-mail address so that we can send you a link with your team’s results. Your e-mail address will be automatically deleted after you’ve received the results. We will never use it to contact you in any other way.
As it is possible for one team leader to have multiple teams, this name helps them to distinguish the team invitation links. This name can be completely made up and serves only for the purpose team identification for the team leader.
We need to know your team size for two reasons:
You will receive your team’s aggregated results when at least three members have completed the teamorama assessment. Individual answers will never be visible to you.
For scientific purposes, we will have access to the individual data, but as they will have no associated name, they will remain anonymous.
Only the team leader can see their answers.
For scientific purposes, we will also be able to see the team lead’s answers. They will be exported from the database only after the team lead’s email address has been deleted, so they will remain anonymous.
Your team has to have at least 3 members (excluding the team leader). We created this cut-off to be able to ensure the anonymity of individual team members. The team leader will receive results and recommendations only when at least three team members (or 75% of the team) have completed the teamorama assessment. The results are aggregated – meaning the team leader will never see the individual answers.
No, but the goal of the teamorama assessment is to help teams communicate and collaborate more effectively. It is meant for teams that work on a common goal and need to interact frequently.
It is very common that some people are members of multiple teams. For the purposes of the teamorama assessment, it is important that each team member answers the questions while thinking about the same team. It is completely OK for one person to participate in teamorama assessment with multiple teams, each time answering the questions having the respective team in mind. Individual teams receive individual links.
A team leader (team manager, team coordinator etc.) can use the teamorama assessment with as many teams as they want to. For each team, they have to generate a new unique link and distribute it amongst the team members belonging to the that team only.
For each team they also have to fill out their team lead survey, as the answers might change from team to team.
While this might happen in some organisational structures, it is usually the case that the team leaders do not hold the same rank. We recommend that only one team leader (the one closer to the team) initiates the teamorama assessment and completes the team lead survey.
No. If you want to change the team size you need to generate a new unique participation link and distribute it among your team members.
Please go to https://teamorama.project.tuwien.ac.at/teamorama-tool/start/ and enter your team name, your team size and your e-mail address. You will receive your individual teamorama assessment link that you can then send to your team members.
After you have generated your individual teamorama assessment link (here https://teamorama.project.tuwien.ac.at/teamorama-tool/start/) please send it to your team members. For the best results, it’s helpful if all team members participate. In order to receive your results and tailored recommendations, at least 75% (or 3 members) have to participate.
Your individual teamorama assessment link is valid for 20 days.
Reminders will be sent out automatically after 4, 11 and 18 days, unless all team members have participated. Please forward these reminders to your team.
Your individual teamorama assessment link will expire after 20 days. If at least 75% (or three members) have participated, you will receive a link to your results and recommendations. If this cut-off has not been met we, unfortunately, can not provide you with the results.
To complete the teamorama assessment, each team member will need about 15 minutes. There are approximately 70 questions to be answered.
Yes.
No. The teamorama assessment is a closed system and can not be adapted. It was carefully developed based on a current and established evidence base.
No, to protect their anonymity.
Only completely filled out questionnaires will be included in the team’s assessment (each team member will see a confirmation page after they complete the assessment). If a team member can not remember if they already participated, you can recommend them to click the link and answer the first 2 pages, usually, that is enough to refresh their memory. If they notice that they already participated, they can simply close the browser window, their responses will not be included in the team’s assessment as the questionnaire has not been filled out completely.
This is unfortunately a “terminal” situation. When one team member completely finishes the teamorama assessment twice, they not only confound the team scores but also take a spot for another team member. In this case, you need to generate a new link and send it again to the team members and ask them to fill it out (again).
After you have generated your individual teamorama assessment link, you and your team will have 20 days to complete the assessment. You will receive an e-mail with a link to your results as soon as you and all your team members have completed the assessment. After the 20 days, you will receive your team’s results only if you and at least 75% (or 3 members) have completed the assessment.
In the link with your results, you will also receive tips on how to share the results and recommendations with your team members.
Yes. one of the main advantages of the teamorama assessment is the possibility to compare your results with other teams. When you receive a link with your team’s results. You will be able to select with which teams you want to compare them (e.g., depending on size, industry etc)
We use means (averages) and percentiles to calculate the scores. You will receive more details in the link with your team’s results.
After you and your team have completed the teamorama assessment, you will receive the results together with tailor-made recommendations for your team. You will also receive tips and hints on how to share the results with your team. We will also recommend you specific actions to address your teams specific issues.
