Privacy Policy for the “teamorama” Project

The project “teamorama” pursues the overall goal of improving cooperation for employees in teams.
For this purpose, we, the TU Wien (Vienna University of Technology), Institute of Management Sciences (IMW)
in cooperation with the Chamber of Labour of Lower Austria, are developing a self-assessment tool.
Within the framework of your participation in the teamorama test phase, the usability and effectiveness of the tool will be tested.

Data Categories

We process your personal data, which falls under the following data categories:

  • Contact details (email address)
  • Sociodemographic information about participants (e.g. age, gender, education)
  • Questions about professional experiences, attitudes, and behaviors
  • Questions about well-being (e.g., job satisfaction)
Purpose of Data Processing

The processing of this data is based on the participation in the project “teamorama” for the purpose of scientific research.

In detail, the data processing proceeds as follows:

  • The data is collected,
  • and stored anonymously with the exception of contact data,
  • and anonymously aggregated (summarized) for research purposes.

In the course of the evaluation, no conclusions can be drawn about your person. Your contact data will not be linked to other collected data.
The contact data of the participants will only be stored for the purpose of delivery and will be deleted after collection.

Legal Basis for Data Processing

The processing and use of your personal data is based on your declaration of participation and is limited to the purposes stated above. The processing of personal data is based on the principles and requirements set out in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG) and the Research Organization Act FOG § 2d (3).

Storage Period/Deletion Period

Your data will be stored as long as required by legal retention periods or as required by the purpose.

Legal Remedy

In connection with the processing of your personal data, you have the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, provided that the exercise of these rights is not likely to render impossible or seriously impair the achievement of the research purpose (Section 2d (6) FOG). If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you can complain to the competent supervisory authority: Austrian Data Protection Authority (DPA), Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna.
